Marriage & Family Therapist
I believe we are all remarkable beings, full of potential and possibility. But, sometimes we find ourselves in situations where our lives just don't seem to be working. We struggle with difficult relationships, career challenges, health problems, family stress or self-defeating behaviors. Additionally, depression, anxiety, trauma or a significant life transition, can also impact our daily lives. -- By challenging ourselves to be who we truly are, we create satisfying and fulfilling lives. This is where therapy can help. A caring therapeutic relationship provides the opportunity to reflect on our lives in a safe and supportive environment.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I work sensitively with individuals and couples, using an imaginative and nurturing approach. Some of my techniques may include dream analysis, sand play and art therapy, which has been proven to help people reach their goals.
Positive change and healing are possible. Becoming aware of ourselves is central to allowing change to occur and my goal is to ultimately help people harness their inner resources to face life's sorrows and joys.
